Acrylic Waterproofing
Acrylic Waterproofing is probably the most popular form of waterproofing which comprises an acrylic-based waterproof compound similar to paint.
It is applied directly to the surface or strengthened with the use of a special fibre membrane, depending on the situation and the product being used.
Suitable for most roof types & joints.
Cementitious Waterproofing
Cementitious Waterproofing should be applied to areas that are subject to moisture or often exposed to water. This includes Showers, Balconies, Ponds, Swimming Pools etc.
Cementitious Waterproofing should be applied directly to cement surfaces and works best if mixed in with the cement during construction.
Torch on Waterproofing
Torch-on waterproofing involves melting or the burning on, of sun resistant (UV protective) Bitumen sheets to the affected surface(s). It is best applied to flat outdoor surfaces like roofs, roof flashings, parapet walls and gutter joints.
Once applied, it is recommended to paint over the bitumous sheeting with a UV protective paint to pro-long its lifespan.
